Kim Bennett is an artist and writer based in the San Francisco Bay area. Her drawings, paintings and textiles have been exhibited at Michael Rosenthal Gallery, San Francisco; Black and White Gallery, New York; Soil Gallery, Seattle; United Arrows, Tokyo; Alleged Gallery, New York and elsewhere. She is the co-founder and editor of Article: Art & the Imaginative Promise, a Bay Area-based online journal of art and criticism. She has been the recipient of a Creative Time commission, and her work is included in The Drawing Center’s Viewing Program and Nieves Books’ zine collection. She worked for several years as a textile designer for Susan Cianciolo’s RUN Collection. She received her B.F.A. from The Cooper Union.
